If you would like your child or children to come to West Minster, we would be very happy for you to apply.

You can collect an application form from the school office or you can download one by clicking here. Once returned to the school office your application will be processed in accordance with the KCC schools admission policy. We will let you know if your application has been successful, by post.

Applying for a Primary School Place

(Reception September 2027)

If you have a child due to start school in September 2027 (whose date of birth falls between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023), the application process for a primary school place opens in November 2026 and closes on Friday 15 January 2027.

Choosing a school for your child is one of the biggest decisions you will make for them, and we know you will be desperate to choose the right one. We are here to help you every step of the way and to answer your questions. We would love to welcome you on a tour of the school and show you all our lovely school has to offer your child.

Applications for a Nursery place are made via the school office. The child is placed on a waiting list and parents are contacted prior to being offered a place for September or January admissions.

We still have a few places in our current Reception and some other year groups. Please contact us to find out how to apply for these.

We now offer Nursery places from 2 years old.

Appeal Form
Parents and carers are required to submit their appeal using the Kent County Council (KCC) online appeal form, available via the Kent County Council website. Parents will also be provided with a copy of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
