Basketball Varsity
Mon 04 May 2026On Thursday we played our 4 varsity of the year against Rose Street to celebrate our termly after-school club of Basketball. th The results were; Year 1-2: West Minster 4-0 Rose Street Year 3-4: West Minster 3-4 Rose Street Year 5-6: West Minster 0-0 Rose Street (West Minster won 1-0 on a penalty shootout) Overall result: West Minster 2-1 Rose Street

Year 4 Poetry

Fairies
Mon 04 May 2026This week we have been learning all about fairies in Nursery- We read the story ‘Backyard Fairies’ and went searching for some of our own around the school. The children have loved seeing what the fairies have been getting up to each night too. The children have drawn pictures for them and made them things for their homeincluding a bike and a swing!

Steel Band Workshop
Mon 27 Apr 2026The children were absolutely amazing and showed respectful listening to the musicians who taught us the beginnings of how to play a steel drum!

West Minster Chicks
Mon 30 Mar 2026The chicks eggs arrived in the school last and the children watched them begin to hatch. Each class took turns to visit the chicks and hold them if they wanted to.

Year 2s Geography trip
Mon 23 Mar 2026We have been on a field trip to see physical and human features in real life following on from our learning in the classroom. We visited the beach and on the way there observed human and physical features in our local area. The children were impeccably behaved and represented our school so well. Miss Walker and Mrs Hiller were very proud.

Mothers Day Brunch
