At West Minster we celebrated VE day; in the classroom the teachers were able to think of different activities. Some of the activities included afternoon tea making, model spitfires, watching how different planes fly, reading recounts and making flags that could be used at any celebrations the children were attending. We also looked at activities that were happening across the community and shared about the bells ringing at 6:30pm and the beacons being lit at 9:30pm.
