  Here are some of the lovely things we have been getting up to in Sweetpea class this week!
  Making nature bracelets
  Observational drawings
  Giving ourselves a new hairstyle!
  Tomorrow we are doing our first bit of cooking, we are making pizzas (wish us luck😂)

  

• Year 1 Computing

  In computing this week we have been learning about how to be responsible on a computer. The children had a great discussion around the rules they have in school and the rules they have at home when using computing equipment.
  We spoke about how rules are made to keep us safe.

• Year 1 Skipping

  Today in PE we have began to learn the skills to be able to skip using a skipping rope.
  First we hopped over a rope, then we jumped. We practiced jumping on the spot and moving our arms, then we tried it altogether with a rope!

  

• Year 2 Science

  Year 2 were testing to see how stretchy different materials are. They
  used tape measures to compare the lengths of the different
  materials in their investigation.

  

• Year 1 Fleet Trip

  Violet class had a great time on our walk to the fleet yesterday. Thank you to those of you who were able to join us and help out.

  We followed a map and drew the different features of our environment.
