English Hub visiting EYFS and KS1
Mon 19 May 2025📚 Our special visitor from the English Hub was blown away by our amazing little bookworms in EYFS and KS1! 🌟 The joy of reading was absolutely contagious as our students eagerly shared their favorite stories and reading adventures. 📖✨ It is great to see such enthusiasm for books from our youngest readers, lighting up the classrooms! The love of reading is truly alive and thriving in EYFS and KS1 - making every day a new chapter of excitement! 🎉 Keep turning those pages, everybody! 🌈

Tudor day
Wed 14 May 2025Today we had a Tudor workshop day where we spent time finding out about how Henry Tudor became king at the Battle of Bosworth, spent time being archaeologists looking for things from the past, spending time trying out Tudor armour and clothing, finding out about the kings and queens, playing Tudor games and finally having a go at archery! What a fantastic day we have had!

Pirate day in Nursery
Fri 09 May 2025Last week the Pirates came and stole our treasure. We made maps and went on a treasure hunt and found our treasure. The Pirate then came back to steal the treasure again so we made her walk the plank.

VE Day celebrations at West Minster
Thu 08 May 2025At West Minster we celebrated VE day; in the classroom the teachers were able to think of different activities. Some of the activities included afternoon tea making, model spitfires, watching how different planes fly, reading recounts and making flags that could be used at any celebrations the children were attending. We also looked at activities that were happening across the community and shared about the bells ringing at 6:30pm and the beacons being lit at 9:30pm.
