We have been on a field trip to see physical and human features in real life following on from our learning in the classroom. We visited the beach and on the way there observed human and physical features in our local area. The children were impeccably behaved and represented our school so well. • Science Week

Mon 16 Mar 2026 Mrs Handy

We started the week with an assembly from Miss Ovenden introducing Science Week. This year’s theme is all about Curiosity and Miss Ovenden spoke about the ways scientists are curious about the world around them. On Tuesday, Miss Gransden and the Pupil Executive Team took an assembly all about Responsibility and spoke to the children about being responsible by reading them the story ‘Owl Babies’.

There have been a lot of exciting Science experiments taking place all week and it was lovely to see so many parents and carers spending time experimenting with their children. Thank you for taking the time to share in this experience; it is really great when we all come together as a school community.
