Year 3 Vegetable tarts

Year 3 have been busy in the kitchen this week, making delicious vegetable tarts! Using prepared pastry, the children chose from a selection of fresh vegetables and carefully chopped and arranged their toppings to create colourful, healthy tarts. They showed great care and creativity — and the results looked (and smelled!) amazing. Well done, Year 3 chefs!

What a fantastic day we had for Nursery Sports Day! The children gave it their all in every race and activity, showing off their brilliant energy, smiles, and determination. What a brilliant morning our Reception children had for Sports Day! From running races to fun team games, the children showed amazing energy, teamwork, and smiles throughout.

Reception Class Beach Trip

Reception had a fantastic morning at the pebble beach this week! The children had a brilliant time searching for shark teeth and collecting special pebbles to take back to school and paint. π¦·ποΈ
They explored the shoreline, listened to the waves, and showed such curiosity and enthusiasm. We’re so proud of how well they represented the school in such a short but memorable outing.
A big thank you to all the staff and helpers who made the morning such a success!

Reception Class Cooking Week

This week, our Reception children have been getting creative in the kitchen! They whipped up a delicious afternoon tea, complete with sweet treats and dainty delights, and also made their own nachos with all the trimmings.The children loved measuring ingredients, spreading, chopping (with care!), and of course – tasting their creations! It was a fantastic way to build independence, teamwork, and fine motor skills… not to mention a lot of fun!

Language Detectives

This week, the children became brilliant language detectives, exploring both Dutch and French. They carefully matched words to pictures, using their thinking skills to work out what new vocabulary might mean. It was amazing to see their confidence grow as they spotted clues and made connections. A fantastic effort from all our detectives!
